An introduction to special education for K-12 students. Offers a survey and study of various characteristics of exceptional children. EDUC 240 - INSTRUCTIONAL ASSISTANT

Prepares students to become effective instructional assistants in K-12 classrooms. Tutoring, individual and small group assistance, yard duty, test administration, communication and guidance, record keeping, ethical practices, and instructional technology are practiced during 30 hours of supervised fieldwork.
